Time Warner Cable Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month On Demand

Hispanic Heritage month is kicking off and Time Warner Cable is celebrating with a special On Demand category that includes 15 acclaimed Latino films. The Hispanic Heritage Month On Demand movie collection features a variety of actors and directors including Javier Bardem (The Sea Inside) and Edward James Olmos (American Me).

Time Warner Cable customers will have access to the special On Demand content through October 15, 2014. All customers have to do to enjoy the following films is turn to the Movies On Demand channel, click on “Enjoy Better,” and select “Hispanic Heritage.”

Each year in the United States, Hispanic Heritage month begins September 15 and is observed through October 15. During this time, Americans celebrate Hispanic history, culture and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America. The time frame in which Hispanic Heritage month is celebrated includes; September 15 which is the anniversary of independence for the Latin American countries of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua; September 16 and 18, respectively, which are the anniversaries of independence for Mexico and Chile; and October 12 which is Columbus Day.
