Free. Unlimited. Nationwide network. The kind of on-the-go Internet access everyone wants is available from Time Warner Cable WiFi hotspots. These hotspots are available free of charge to all subscribers with Standard Internet and above nationwide.Back in June, we learned that Time Warner Cable had made one of the first “fast lane” deals affecting WiFi roaming access with Boingo, a major WiFi network operating company. Boingo produces WiFi access to subway platforms and airports in cities such as New York; Los Angeles; Austin, Texas; and Charlotte, North Carolina. Read more about this story here.The deal gives Time Warner Cable subscribers WiFi access, according to Time Warner Cable, “at many airports and public locations.” All subscribers have to do is sign in to TWCWiFi, TWCWiFi-Passpoint, CableWiFi or Boingo network using their Time Warner Cable ID and password. These different networks cover both guest access and a secure network.
